At 1208 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Wintersville, or near Steubenville, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected. Locations impacted include... Weirton, Steubenville, Wintersville, Mingo Junction, Follansbee, Hooverson Heights, Burgettstown, Richmond, Bloomingdale, Brentwood, Unionport, East Steubenville, Colliers, Rockdale, Sun Valley, Langeloth, Slovan and Atlasburg. WHAT TO DO (from the National Weather Service): Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.
